[Four] - Locked TO Known Hostiles

Well, now that we've had time to lick our wounds, so to speak...
That could have gone a tad bit better, but it could have gone much, much worse.
No doubt, DATS has heard of our little exploits, especially with the involvement of one of their Unit Captains. And I'm sure they've informed the lot of so called "good" Tamers lurking around and about.
Even without being able to take out any of them in our little skirmish, this is all actually working out precisely as planned. They'll be on guard now... perhaps, in the case of some of them, paranoid, on edge...
This, you see, can actually work to our advantage.
But before I go on, I should make the point... we were able to hurt them. Without the arrival of their help, several of them very well may have perished in that battle. Which says quite a lot...
If just a few of us combined can accomplish that much... imagine what we can all do, my friends!
So with that in mind, in order to move this forward, there are matters that must be attended to... Problems that must be squashed.
Such as the little matter of our comrade in arms, Dr. Doom, still being under lock and key within DATS' base of operations itself.
Obviously, we cannot just rush blindly into such a situation.
And we don't want a little repeat of the cavalry coming to the rescue, as happened last week.
So... thoughts?
...
Oh, and Jail, old boy. Your young one seems to have... run off, again, once her partner was able to move again.Strange girl. And from me, that's SAYING something.
[ooc - Strikes unreadable.]

Date: 2009-01-18 06:14 am (UTC)If you can indeed rally everyone, we may just have the makings of a vast villainous empire that won't collapse in upon itself until we've grown overconfident and start thinking that we're bigger threats to each other than the good guys!
[Locked to Eggman]
But that being said, and mind you, this is just villain to villain courtesy... You didn't even kidnap a dopey sidekick.
And you revealed yourself as a true villain. I saw what DATS had to say, because they think I'm still harmless. (I'm racing your nemesis tomorrow, as a matter of fact...)
It's got potential, but it still looks like your plans are gonna be mid-boss material in comparison to the established powers of this world.

Bowser, honestly now.
If I had a Chaos Emerald for every time I've kidnapped a dopey sidekick, I wouldn't NEED these people.
That shtick gets a bit tired after awhile, I'm afraid. Though, not without its merits, still, when there's a time and place for it.
And honestly, now, if they didn't think I was a threat... it'd be kind of boring.
And... good luck with that. Honestly.Ah, but I've only been here but a month, my scaley friend. Things here have only JUST started to get off the ground...

All I'm saying is that, as a villainous declaration, it was subpar. I do, though, appreciate the sentiment of it getting old. There's a reason I went into space, and why I stole those notes, and...
STILL!
So long as the next showing is better. If you're going to get a villainous alliance out of me, I demand a plot that I can be proud of. I will NOT be the Team Rocket of this world.

[Locked to Bowser]
Oh, I think you'll be quite proud of my next trick.
[Locked to Eggman]
Date: 2009-01-18 07:45 am (UTC)I will be watching quite closely.
[via D-Reader]
Date: 2009-01-18 06:20 am (UTC)A suggestion, though - and it worked with me. Perhaps the capture of someone close to their inner circle and assume their identity, thus giving you the element of surprise in a possible battle...
Re: [via D-Reader]
Date: 2009-01-18 06:32 am (UTC)Unfortunately, my segment - Sonic and his fellow furry friends - are a bit more difficult to fool in that area after some recent incidents, or so I would think.

Date: 2009-01-18 06:25 am (UTC)Hm, even if I have had quarrels with Doom in the past, perhaps he will realize I am not quite to blame.
I can get you information of inside DATS.

Date: 2009-01-18 06:36 am (UTC)And what, if I may ask, makes this source reliable?

Date: 2009-01-18 07:32 am (UTC)Re: Anonymous/Untraceable
Date: 2009-01-18 07:39 am (UTC)Considering I've lived among the 'good guys' for months without them figuring me out or stopping me, I think that should tell you I have some very valuable skills.
And reliability? You're working towards the same goal as me, so why not work together?
Re: Anonymous/Untraceable
Date: 2009-01-18 10:53 pm (UTC)It still raises a couple questions, at least.
Re: Anonymous/Untraceable
Date: 2009-01-18 11:01 pm (UTC)But I never betray anyone who decides to be my ally before that fact becomes apparent. How many times has a group of villains lost because of that? Too many to count, so if I want my work done, it's better to avoid. Plus betrayal is the one trait I don't tolerate.
And despite what Doom says, I didn't betray him when he attacked the Inns. He's the one who made the attack without telling me he was before hand and not giving me time to make any plans. I am not a thug, after all and like to have my board set up before I make my move.
No one in this world knows my true identity except the obvious. And I keep it that way because if someone I ally with is captured, then all is not lost no matter how information might be extracted from them.
Re: Anonymous/Untraceable
Date: 2009-01-19 01:09 am (UTC)That said, however... I think we could do business.
Re: Anonymous/Untraceable
Date: 2009-01-19 01:13 am (UTC)That's wonderful to hear.

Date: 2009-01-18 06:28 am (UTC)I am impressed that you and your gathering were able to harm those who seem more powerful in appearance. It shows that even they are not invincible.
But, perhaps I can be of assistance in your mission.

Date: 2009-01-18 06:46 am (UTC)Despite the fact that it has come to my attention my own evil powers have dwindled due to the effects of this world, I can still do what I have done before and that's my ability to create an army of monsters. Anything simple can become a fearsome creature in an instant.
At the same time, I do have a... growing army of Digimon as well... pastiches of my army back from my world
though, why did that SkullGreymon have to act like that blasted Rito?!.My services as well as my army is at your command if need be. Believe me, I believe we have a chance at victory here...

I maimed Tails, at least. That made me sleep easy.

Date: 2009-01-18 03:06 pm (UTC)Also...and...this is simply another suggestion...perhaps a distraction is in order? To draw people from the area that they are holding Mr. Doom?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-18 10:36 pm (UTC)And yes, yes. Distraction seems to be the order of the day, but it requires luring out an awful lot of people. And things that would lure THEM out, specifically...
...hm. Hmmm...

Date: 2009-01-18 03:11 pm (UTC)Such may also be the key to you're next activities. While it seems that in large swarm attacks the heroes flourish...smaller groups and single Tamers are far too easy to pick off. You would think after months of listening to Tamer after Tamer get attacked when they foolishly spent time alone or even away from their digimon (Truly stupidity at it's finest) that they would learn.

Date: 2009-01-18 10:26 pm (UTC)The issue at hand, of course, is dividing and conquering an entire BASE.

Date: 2009-01-18 04:40 pm (UTC)In fighting DATS in general, it may be wise to identify their tacticians and take them out first. The others will be more prone to making mistakes.

Date: 2009-01-18 10:24 pm (UTC)But, that's a very good point. Pinpointing them should, actually... not be too difficult. Basing on whom they seem to have in charge of certain units would be a good way in which to start.

Date: 2009-01-18 10:17 pm (UTC)They're not split into teams for nothing, of course. And if they could just be spread thin enough...
...
Well, actually, helping them towards that end would be an admirable goal.

Date: 2009-01-19 12:44 am (UTC)As it is right now, I am preparing to capture a... certain target of mine. I was planning on invading Tetha as a pretense for capturing her, since that's where she spends a lot of her time... when she isn't living at the Royal Base.
Perhaps we could coordinate our movements to attack several well known locations at once, while leaving Royal Base thin on forces to cover Doom's escape.
no subject
Date: 2009-01-19 01:12 am (UTC)Like I said before, however, the key is luring DATS themselves. With all the Tamers here, that's not promised.
Not unless actions are taken which... shall we say, are relative to their interests?
...
And a "certain target," you say?
no subject
Date: 2009-01-21 03:15 am (UTC)My target is the younger version of the captain of DATS Unit 2, Takamachi Nanoha. With how much power the adult her had as a child and now, if I could tap into that with another version with my experiments...
The fact that her daughter follows the younger her around as well just makes it that much better, even if kidnapping the same person again seems like a waste of time.
But as far as I'm concerned, capturing my target or freeing Doom? Either outcome counts as a victory.
no subject
Date: 2009-01-19 12:45 am (UTC)No need to be so strict on her right now though... her actions haven't really hindered any of my plans.
